My wife, my 3 yr. old daughter, my 1 yr. old son, and myself occupied a 2br. What a total nightmare. On the 3rd year, we were robbed. The scum bags robbed us of his/hers bulova watches, $1,000 diamond stud earrings (1 mo. old), and most valuable a camcorder with a tape of my sons 1st birthday party. I would have been so grateful had they mailed the tape back to me. No forced entry and the maintenance people have keys to "every" apt.; obvious they did it! Stupid me never changed the locks. One neighbor was harrassed by Management for changing his lock, of course he moved (wise). Management, relatives of the maint. guys by the way, had the balls to suggest that I gave a copy of the key to a family member and that they were the ones'that robbed us. The Police came and were convinced it was the maintenance people. From a discussion with another neighbor living there for years, apparently theft is common; but no one can prove anything. To make matters worse, they kept $150 out of our security for dents on the frig. that we never made, despite being noted on the lease before moving in. The place is run by Trash. Towards the end, I feared for my wife's & kids safety while I was at work. The maint. guys drink beer on the premises and look like typical trash. After the robbery, we felt so violated that we kept the remaining valuables at my parents home. I can't even begin to express the anger I felt, literally in tears. However, by the grace of god, as soon as our lease was expiring we found our 1st starter home. One last thing, there was mold in the bathroom and they wouldn't even do anything about it; despite it being a health hazard for me and my family. All I can say, learn from my experience and stay away, far far away!
