The apartment itself for the price is nice. I was lucky enough to have the previous tenant destroy most of the apartment so when I moved in mostly everything was brand new including the fridge the stove the counters and many other things.
I'm normally very rational when it comes to things but there management is just plain bad. When speaking to them they talk down to you as though there your parents scolding you. I've lived here for a few months and they have really made it tough. I had a roommate and we were both on the lease. He stayed between here and PA but they found out he stays in PA more than here so they said we broke the lease and I have to sign a new 1 year lease. I'm not even sure if what there doing is legal but when I asked how many nights a tenant has to stay here to be considered living here they told me to cut the bs and stop playing games. I told them that due to the nature of his job its easier for him to have 2 homes and I want to know legally how many nights he must stay here but they would not answer me. He was put on the first lease because they said anyone else staying here has to be on the lease. Now they want him off and I feel like I'm being scammed. The rent has never been late but they wanted to evict me if I did not sign a new lease. They called us 2x a day for a week straight until we agreed to sign a new lease. They left nasty messages actually yelling at us. Overall I would not move here due to how bad they are. There are many more apartments in the area were you can be treated like a normal human being.

You hit the nail on the head. They "the office help" act totally unprofessional!!!!!!!!!
I would look into your lease issue. I have the opposite around me. One person on the lease one. two.three, sometimes four move in. Which makes two, three, sometimes four more cars in the already inadequate parking lot. Good luck.

Wow...sorry to hear about your lease problems. This is the first time I've been on this site and everything that I'm reading is completely true. You'd think the owners would change the office staff to accommodate the tenants complaints, etc. Maybe NEWS 12 NEW JERSEY should pick this up!

Hi,
Here is everything you ever need to protect yourself when renting.http://www.lsnjlaw.org/english/placeilive/ You would be surprised how much I have learn from this. Its unfortunate, that we have to even read the laws. I looked at these apartments yesterday and now after reading the reviews, Ive changed my mind. Good luck!

------------ to blame for all this. And she is not even a manager!! i think contacting news 12 new jersey or getting a lawyer involved is something definitly worth looking into. "Harrassment" is not in the lease!

I dont think that is legal at all. Doesn't make any sense! I stay at my cousins pretty much 3-4 days a week in the summer...WTF does it matter if I pay the rent??
