My air conditioner just broke (3:30 PM) and there is going to be a heat wave starting tomorrow. I call the front office and of course, I am told that it is too late to do anything about it because the maintenance men get off at 4:30 (so they have an hour more before they get off) and don't work on the weekends unless its an emergency! ISN'T THIS AN EMERGENCY'''''''''''''''''''''' Oh yes, they ARE aware that I have a 3 month old infant!!!!! SLUM LORDS!

If you read through the past comments and complaints they are all the same, NASTY office B*$%#!!!!!!!!!!! She must be really something special to the owners. How can you deal with the public if you hate everyone. O yea she does not like all the men.

I agree about her. My rent was late getting there, purely due to the mail being sublimely slow, and her assumption right off the bat was that I just didn't wanna pay the rent. I told her I mailed it via money order on the 2nd, so she basically had a "we'll see" kind of attitude. When she does receive the rent in the mail she calls me and with an inflection of absolute disbelief in her voice, tells me that it really was written out and postmarked on the second, just like I said. Just love being greeted with the automatic assumption that I am a liar and a deadbeat, that's always such a warm and fuzzy feeling. I also have rental assistance and for the first time, EVER, I hear that if you are on Section 8, the rent is never supposed to be late, from her mouth, which is absolute crap. I mean, isn't rent SUPPOSED to be on time no matter who's paying it? Doy!

In response to the A/C problem on friday,when I spoke to you and said it was 3:30 on friday and the supers were going off duty in an hour, I ALSO SAID I WOULD SEE WHAT I COULD DO ABOUT GETTING SOMEONE THERE. AND THANK YOU, SOMEONE DID COME SHORTLY AFTER THAT.Also, we always recommend that you try your A/C when your covers are removed so this DOES NOT HAPPEN DURING A HEAT WAVE. ALSO, THE SUPER ON CALL DID GO OUT ON THE WEEKEND ON A/C CALLS TO SEE IF HE WAS ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM BECAUSE IT WAS A HEAT WAVE.

NO ONE showed up to my house to check until MONDAY-----and YES the AC WAS replaced----ON MONDAY! We went the WHOLE weekend w/o it. Thank you!

Something similar happened to me last year. The air conditioning went bad around mid July. I contacted the office and was told that they were on back order. I did not receive one for just about a month (well into August). I would've went out to buy one myself and deducted the price from my rent but, I am 67, with disabilities, I live on a fixed income and could not afford to. If I could move from here I would.
