I went to this apartment this weekend to rent a place. I really liked the place. But the lady in the office did not care much for our business. She was busy chatting on the phone and eating fruit. She literally treated us like a wall fly. I wanted to find out about short term leasing and she was unaware of the rules. She told us to call the weekday staff. I called a few minutes ago and ------picked up the phone. I told her that the lady was unaware of a few things so I had called to ask her. Without even listening to the whole story she retorted back with a very demeaning tone and claimed that was impossible as if I was lying. I told her I didnot appreciate her tone. She just hung up! This behavior indicates how they might be treating their renters. I am definitely not going to rent with them and I wouldnot recommend this place to anyone!

OMG! You are so right on. That lady is horrible. A simular thing had happend to my husband and I. It was too bad that we had signed the lease prior to that conversation because there was no way I would have signed. She called me a liar straight out when I told her that we were told that the stools for the breakfast nook would be included as stated by the weekend staff. So it was not just you. She is just a nasty woman. I won't even deal with the office staff anymore I make my husband deal with them. We are almost done with our lease and as soon as I get my deposit back I am going to foward ------all the blogs that are posted about her. She should know how her behavior impacts the business. There are much nicer places in that area that have nicer mgt. Avoid dealing with this mgt. if you can. It doesn't get better with them I assure you.

I would like to find out who her boss is. I think I am going to file a complain with the HUD for discriminatory behavior and also file a complaint with BBB.

i also agree with the discriminatory behavior... the complex/management can be sued for that...

I still can not believe she is in the office. I have said it once I'll say it again the she must have some dirt on the owners. How else could she still have a job? Reb2120 this may be of no comfort to you but EVERYONE is treated like crap by her. Usually she waits to show her true colors after you sign the lease. Good Luck to you.

That fat slob is so rude. She's hungry all the time and we're lucky she hasn't eaten a resident yet. Madison Gardens is a dump. There's also a swishy guy working in the office. He's like Adam Lambert's uncle or something
