I'm reading all these horrible reviews, and I completely disagree. The apartment is huge, the rent is cheap for the area. When I moved in, I complained that some of the fixtures in my apartment were a little run down, and I didn't want it coming out of my security, so they REPLACED EVERYTHING. New kitchen counters, sink, and floor, a new toilet, new bathroom sink and cabinets. When I complained about the heat maintenance was there within a half an hour! I live upstairs, but have seen no insects except for a daddy long legs or two by the front entrance. There is plenty of parking on my street, (Tupelo) although I can't speak for the others. I can only hear my neighbors when they yell. On the down side, the AC units are ancient and I believe an electric bill of $165 for a one bedroom where the AC is set on 78 is just a little bit unreasonable. Additionally, my carpet is a little beat up (not dirty, not smelly, just a little beat up) and they said it's not old enough to replace. An independent contractor hired by maintenance as a painter made a pass at me a few months after I moved in, and I complained, expecting to be ignored. They not only fired the guy, they called the police and had him escorted from the property and banned from returning. I believe they badly overreacted, but it does make me feel a lot safer here as a single female. Before I moved here, I checked every apartment complex in the area, and these were by far the nicest looking apartments. Additionally, my friends who rent in other places cant believe how little im paying for it. I would recommend Pine Gate to anyone.
