I guess living here would be better than, say, living out of a cardboard box, but if you can make other plans, I'd strongly suggest you do so!

We lived here for a year. We were dumb enough to let them show us a "model apartment". It wasn't actually the apartment we would be moving into. The "model apartment" looked great. The one we actually got was a hellhole.

Our air conditioner had bees living in it when we moved in. We had a huge bee problem outside our front door. Our shower temperature would swing from freezing cold to boiling hot for no apparent reason. It was old, the tile was cracked and peeling, and the landlord (or slumlord) didn't do much of anything! The super was a guy from Russia who didn't speak much English. On our first night there, for some reason unknown, he removed our toilet seat and never, ever brought over a replacement.

Some of our mail went missing and we quickly figured out that if we got packages in the mail, they'd end up being dropped off at the super's office and we'd never see them again.

We moved out after a year, but not before contacting a few state agencies who paid them a visit.

Yes, I fully agree with this review, please please do not rent apartment in Edward garden, First of all there is race problem, all Asian people they are putting on last "D" building purposely, I was looking where and how can I complain about this race problem. If you complain about any problem in your apartment then first they will blame you that because of you only there is problem never come on time always after 3-4 days after you complaint, only 1 guy is there for maintenance, air condition and refrigerator is antiques item, consume more power, making lot of noise and never working, on top of that they threaten you about your security deposit, and never giving back , its lot of other things about this apartment and if I start writing its going to be too long.. so in short never rent apartment in Edwards garden.
