I Have lived at Intervale gardens for 3 years now, I am a single woman and always feel 100% comfortable and safe in my apartment no matter the time of day because the police station is conviently located next door. The grounds are kept above par but could use more attention but I don't blame the staff as it seems they are severly understaffed for amount of responsibilies they assume. All members of the staff at very friendly and very helpful, but two of the members of the staff are young men and very forgetful and sometimes need a second notification to get repairs done. The apartments are a little old but they are currently replacing the bathrooms and the apartments are in very good shape. The windows are a little old and drafty though I have heard rumors that new windows are on thier way and I am anxious for thier arrival. they do have a pool which is properly maintained the lifeguard does a wonderful job and is very friendly, they also have laundry rooms in various locations around the complex and for the most part they are clean and work properly although the occasional rip off does happen where you pay money and the machine doesnt work. In conclusion I must tip my hat to the manager because he does a superb job in helping people out and does the best job he can with the resources he is given, he hired his nephew who is a very responsible young man and is always willing to help, and the supers do good job at helping with emergencies and general upkeep of the complex. I would recommend intervale gardens to anyone( infact I have, 3 of my friends also have chosen to live here) and I feel that some of these reviews are unjustified and probably came from a person who had one bad expierience and is too immature to put it behind them. This place offers alot of diversity there are young singles like my self, couples, families and senior citizens. If you are looking for an apartment in the parssipany area make sure to consider Intervale gardens

Understaff?? I don't believe it everytime when I submit a note for repair I have to go in personnally to check on my repair note and when I go in the office I see 4 men not included the super 1 of them is sleeping and snore on the sofa you say they understaff. Also, I was told that I only pay $900 per month for rent so they refuse to repair my apartment but you know Knoll Garden Apartment located in Lake Hiawatha only charge $835 per month for rent. Maybe the super does not know that how convenience.

Matter of fact, I was told by Mike that they would be put in before the summer. Well that was last summer! I asked Kurt about them and he said the new windows will be put in over the course of the next couple of years! Read my review. And Yes, I did live there for one year and had a bad experience. Am I bitter about it, Not at all. Life goes on! Does that make someone immature to state their opinions and feelings on a place that you pay someone to live? Should someone spend almost a GRAND to RENT a place that your unhappy with? Is it right that you have to remind the Superintendents more than once to get things done? I am here to simply state my experience and to prevent other people from going through what I went through. I think you need to open your eyes to whats around you! That place is a total waiste

Wow, a positive review!!!! Why does everyone else hate it so much? Kids are considered 18 and under, so what do these negative residents mean by "kids"
