I'm a current tenant, and after 1.5 years, I can't take it anymore. Ah, where to start. 1. WINDOWS: Terribly old- 4 out of the 6 windows don't even open halfway, and so dirty you can't see out of them. 2. WALLS: paper thin, you can here every cough, act of flatuance and fornication that goes on. 3. WATER: periods of time where water is lukewarm at best. 4. LAUNDRY ROOM: there are 2 washers and 2 dryers for 3 buildings, currently the one dryer has been broken for weeks. Two people have also fallen down the steps to the laundry room due to improper maintenance of the steps. 5. MANAGEMENT: Unresponsive. And if by chance they call you back, they are rude. HEAT: You do not control your heat. In the winter, windows need to be open because of the blasting heat, I've had my AC on as well, and have still seen temperatures upwards of 88 degrees. In DECEMEBER! You have to call Maintenance and request that they turn it down. Again, see results from MANAGMENT comment. 6. NOISE: There are children running around wild screaming throughout the complex, it looks like a slum- there are toys everywhere, and kids everywhere, running in the streets, climbing trees, in bushes, and even banging on your front door. If you want a quiet place, do not come here. 7. GROUNDS: Expect to see nice landscaping in the front of the complex, but bald patches of grass and no landscaping in the back. 8. POOL: There is a pool, but you have to pay an additional $65 a year. This year they didnt open the pool until June. MOVE IN DAY: Place was disgusting- mail from previous tenants, nothing was cleaned. There was a new toilet, sink, and tub. I had to scrub all the hair and dirt off all the floors, and previous tenant was a smoker, so all the walls had to be scrubbed, not to mention the dated AC unit that probably hadnt been cleaned in years. Flooring was not properly secured, and one of the doors had a hole in it. They failed to mention the heat situation until after i signed my lease. TRASH PICKUP: There are about 20 trashcans lined up, and by the end of the week they are overfilled, and trash is strewn everywhere. This is where the animals come in. Don't be surprised when a squirrel jumps out of the trashcan you are putting your trash in. There are a bunch of ducks that have become total scavengers, and a nice old lady keeps the raccoons fed by putting out bagels every night. OH! and there was also a major problem with the electric where at least two buildings experienced nonstop brownouts and flickering for a FULL MONTH.

Hey getmeouttaheresoon! It's Real Simple! 1- WASH the damn windows! 2-Next time, try holding a glass against the walls. Might hear MORE action that way. Also, it's FLATULENCE........ 3-You've obviously been taking and timing the water temperatures; so why not just JUMP IN, when it feels right for ya? Come on, really.... Washers, Dryers, people falling down stairs, Ducks, BAGELS???? Sounds to me like you have TOO much time on your hands, or you're not happy, UNLESS, you're miserable!.. Either, or, my two suggestions to you are as follows: 1-Don't resign for the THIRD time!! 2-GET-A-LIFE

hey anonomous, in response to your comment: 1) when the windows are over 30 years old, its kinda hard to clean them, especially since half of them don't open properly. 2) I'm not a pervert, why would I want to listen 3)periods of time meaning DAYS not minutes/hours, why the hell would I be timing the water. Too much time on my hands? I don't think so, you are the one making nasty comments to apartment postings, maybe you are the one who should get a life. And of course I am not happy- with this place, or else why the hell would I write this review? Obviously I would want other people to know what a hellhole this is so that they aren't trapped like I am/was. I will NOT be staying here another year, and It is nasty people like you who help to encourage me to get away from here. Have fun rotting while I prosper. Have a lovely day.

I have to say that I totally agree with this review. The place is as you say and I agree with every comment you made. (I am not so bitter about the way things are because I looked at a lot of apartments that were a lot worse for more money, but there are certainly things that annoy me) 1. The heat in the winter-so HOT I can't stand it! 2. water temperature is touch and go- a lot of times there is no hot water, but sometimes I don't even have cold water- just scalding hot water. 3. I don't know who keeps feeding those ducks but OMG, some people live here and I don't like being followed by ducks looking for food from me when I walk to my car in the morning! And the raccoons! People should really be more considerate. I had one run out at me when I was taking out the trash. If someone is feeding them they should really stop!
