This guy beneath me doesnt know what he is talking about. and everyone uses the race card. They have a process for the 2 bedroom apts because they are so dsirable.Anywhere you go if you live on the first floor your bound to hear some noise. I live right next to the office and goto work at 8am everyday and they are open as well as open at 4:15 when i get home. The maintainance guys are friendly and get the job done in ample time. If its an emergency they do it very very quickly. There is always parking if you know where to look and they maintain the grounds with landscapers often. The lady in the office is not rude or a pain. She deals with people all day that dont know what they want or complain constantly. It really is a nice place for the money. I have a great apartment and they have been nothing but good to me.

My guess is that you are a white person with no children. You're fortunate to have had a good experience. But don't assume that those who haven't shared your wonderful experience are playing the "race card." Racism is a fact of life in this complex if you're not white. Garden Homes Management (owner of Lakeview Gardens and Redstone) was sued a few years ago for violations of Fair Housing Act for discriminating against ------ and families with children. (See for yourself - put "Lakeview Gardens" or "U.S. v. Garden Homes Management Corp." into your Google search engine) Even though they had to be forced BY LAW to change their ways and allow other races to live here, they still get away with treating people differently based on race. They clearly resent the fact that they have to abide by these housing laws. It's a nightmare place to live if you're a minority. Even if you are white, it's still a nightmare to deal with the office when you have a real and ongoing problem that they refuse (or are too incompetent) to fix. People complain constantly, not because they don't know what they want, but because recurring problems do not get fixed.
