Been here for a few months now and have had very few problems. My downstairs neighbor is a bit of a pain, but that can happen anywhere. Overall it's a nice, clean place, never seen a rodent of any kind, the area is well-maintained, the neighborhood is relatively quiet (again, just my downstairs neighbor seems to be the exception), and I plan to stay here through this first year and into a second or third lease.

One thing to note about the neighboring apartments: While Redstone is clean and well-kept, nearby Park Lake Village and Dartmouth Village are not. If you end up in one of the rear buildings at Redstone that faces a Park Lake Village building, expect to have a daily view of trashy looking front lawns, cars parked on the grass, random items strewn about the area, etc. It seems that the management over there doesn't enforce any sort of tenant property cleanliness rules or anything. Just be aware of this when viewing a Redstone unit, and check to see if it faces Park Lake Village or Dartmouth Village.

Also be aware that tenants of Park Lake and Dartmouth come over and use the laundry facilities here. Not sure if it's because there are no laundry facilities over there or if they are just not as nice as here, but sometimes it can be tough to get a washer or dryer here because they are often in use by tenants from the other complexes.

Regarding the racist accusations about the management, totally untrue. Everyone in management here is very pleasant and I highly doubt that any of them are racist. The tenants here come from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds, and if management was racist I dount anyone would be renting here.

All-in-all, it's a great place. We looked all over Parsippany and in Denville, and this was the best value and best overall apartment for us.
