we lived in the apartments for over eight years, and not only did we have a neighbor that threatened our lives and blasted music at three in the morning, the apartment secratary lied constantly and there was fungus growing on our walls and door. we told maintnence about this problem, and many times they promised to do something about it, but absolutly NOTHING was in fact done. it is a promise that you will not like these apartments if you move there, especially if you are of non-american ethnicity. people coming from different places are treated worse.

If it was so bad, why would you live there for 8 years instead of finding something better...

RE: Quester Is it really that bad?? I know a couple people that live there, in Rutgers Village. Actually, they do live on the New Road Side. I was wondering about that Bed Bug situation. I do remember, driving through that area, last Fall, and seeing all kinds of matress, and contents of apartments, along with a bunch of rolled up carpet, in the dumpster, the one before you get to the Front Store, area. I was wondering, why, every time I passed that side of Rutgers Village, why there were always furniture, tables, carpet, rolled up, along with matress in that "double dumpster". If that is the case, You mean they are renting these apartments, that have bed bugs, without telling new Prospects?? I think I see see the "headlines" in the Daily Record, one day, about a Disabled Man, fighting to stay, in his apartment, as Judge grants a continued stay. I remember seeing that, in the Daily Record. I live in Parsippany, and I do know a couple people, that live on that New Road "side". ...... What a shame...I do agree, if there is a Bed Bug Problem situation, in any of those apartments, or buildings, new tenants should be at least given a "heads up".

Hello Anonymous, Yes the situation here is very bad, The management can't seem to control the problem here in this complex at all. I have tried to reason with Bedford management. However, Now it will be a bloody fight just because, I wanted to educate the other residence living here since July of 2007. After the Bed Bugs hit my apartment, I had to go to the up to the hospital, I was scratching so much all I did was make the bites worse. They bit me hundreds of times on my head and the tops of my feet. What happened next was really bad, I am disabled and I could not move everything so I could get ready for the management to treat my apartment, so they tried to evict me. I went to court and won the case. I am still living here but still having to go to court and fight with these self righteous snobs, that only seem to care for the money and not any of the renters and or people. I will continue to fight until change positive happens here in Rutgers Village. Just to let you know, I was in court again today and won the day again, I am starting to make, more and more people see the arbitrary and pour policies the management has regarding peoples rights Thanks for your post Sincerely; George. please go here, http://bedbugger.com/2007/10/19/disabled-man-who-reported-b And Here, http://quester2.spaces.live.com/default.aspx

HELLO QUESTER: I KNOW ALITTLE BIT ABOUT BED BUGS. FROM WHAT I KNOW, THEY CANNOT BE TERMINATED, THROUGH JUST THE "AVERAGE" TYPE OF EXTERMINATING. DOES THE MANAGEMENT KNOW THIS??? IN OTHER WORDS, I HAVE DONE SOME REASEARCH ON THIS TYPE OF "BUG", AND, APPARENTLY YOU CANNOT TOTALLY GET RID OF THEM, THROUGH JUST YOUR "AVERAGE" EXTERMINATING PROCESS. THEREFORE, THEY NEVER TERMINATE. THERE ARE A FEW DIFFERENT TECHINQUES. I READ THAT THERE WAS A SEVERE CASE, IN ANOTHER COMPLEX BUILDING, AND THEY LITERALLY HAD TO USE A SPECIAL TYPE OF EXTERMINATOR. THE PROCESS WAS, THAT THEY EVACUATED THE WHOLE BUILDING, WITH THE COORPORATION OF ALL THE TENANTS, IN THE BUILDING, AND THEY USED A "BAKE OUT" METHOD. IF YOU LOOK UNDER BED BUGS, EXTERMINATING PROCESS, IT WILL TELL YOU ALL ABOUT THIS. IN OTHER WORDS, IF THE BUILDING THAT YOU ARE LIVING IN, CONTINUES TO HARBOR BED BUGS, AND THE EXTERMINATOR CONTINUES TO TRY AND GET RID OF THEM, THEY WILL NOT BE GONE. THE MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO HANDLE THIS SITUATION THE RIGHT WAY, AND CALL IN A SPECIALIST, IN ORDER TO TOTALLY RID OF THESE TYPE OF BUGS. THEY WILL MERELY KEEP COMING BACK, OR GO THROUGH OUTLET COVERS, WIRES, UNDER CRACKS OF FLOORS, AND THROUGH WALLS, ETC, AND KEEP SPREADING, AND EVEN GO BACK AND FORTH, WHICH SOUNDS LIKE WHAT THAT BUILDING IS GOING THROUGH. THE PROBLEM WILL NEVER GO AWAY. AGAIN, I EDUCATED MYSELF, ON THIS SUBJECT, AND I WANTED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU. THERE ARE OTHER METHODS USED, ALSO, BUT THIS "BAKING" METHOD, SEEMS TO GET THE BEST RESULTS. SINCERELY.....I WILL CHECK OUT YOUR BEDGUGGER.COM THANK YOU. GOOD LUCK QUESTER.......
