Decent Place

When my wife first went to see an appartment, she was told that she couldn't see it without her husband. She was so mad but it was still conveniently located in the same town that she worked in and it was the cheapest appartment that we could find with short term lease options. I went back myself and they showed an appartment to me without my wife and it was decent so I convinced my wife to move in. To get the short term lease it was an extra 500 bucks. I found this to be an average amount.
When we moved in, we didn't have any electricity or a running stove for a few days. I actually had to go seek out the super to get these things taken care of but they were done quickly once I let them know I was in need. The supers are nice and responsive.
We lived on the bottom floor and we had to get used to the stompers above us that woke up about an hour before we wanted to but in a few weeks we slept right through it.
We saw a house centipede about once a month and they are very ugly and scary and run really fast but we just kept a can of bug killer around and we were fine. These insects are harmless.
I didn't like having to pay their pool fee considering we didn't intend to use the pool. It was 50/person/summer. We did happen to use the pool a couple of times and it was nice at least.
Their hoopless basketball courts and netless tennis courts are covered in broken glass and often have teenage boys hanging around them so I would stay clear.
Overall a decent place to lay your head at night but if I was going to live in an apartment for the rest of my life, I would need to find a better place.
