Just happened upon this website. Lived in THV when it first opened..I was 8 years old. Road didn't go all the way to Vail. Lot's of empty fields, no Northvail school. Watched the development next 3 1/2 years to Vail Ave. I remember nice people, easy walk to Central Jr High where my Dad did his Student Teacher Internship right out of College. Played in the woods by Central..Great place to live. I am thinking of retiring to the area and will definitely look up Troy Hills Village...Ed Rapp Napa California

Ed you lived here in 1969, it is now 2007. Think about it, that was 38 years ago. There is a reason Troy Hills has 171 reviews, most of which are negative. My only advice to you is read all the reviews before making your decision. I too thought this place was nice at first. That was before the cold winter with no heat, before the ants and the rodents moved in.... I could tell you more but like I said read the reviews, all the information you need is right there.
