The comments about the staff are on target - the 2 women in the office are very rude and unhelpful if they do not like you. The grounds are well maintained except for the play and garbage areas. They do not have enough trash bins and the garbage is frequently overflowing; the stench in the apts close by must be horrendous in the summer. The playgrounds often have trash and broken bottles, and eqipment like swings are broken. The appliances and air conditioners (they must be the first models ever made) in my apt are old, but they do work. The kitchen cabinets, bathtub, toilet (there is a brown enamel that cannot be scrubbed away) and sink are old and should be replaced. Although my neighbors are quiet, the walls are thin and I can hear my neighbor walk around, the tv, even when the toilet flushes. The laundry room is just plain filthy. The floors look like they've never met a mop, and the machines often don't work and deduct money from your card without washing or drying the clothes. The office mgmt will of course not intercede on your behalf when you complain, and so you must go through the hassle of getting your money back (they put $ on a new card) from the company that installs the machines. On the positive side, when we have a problem it does get addressed almost immediately, and the supers have been very nice. The rent includes heat and cooking gas. The heat can be controlled by the tenant and has worked very well this cold winter. Nevertheless, we are looking to move once our lease is up. Another problem is that when you leave the lease states you must move on the 28th of the month. Would like to know if anyone who moved out recently had any problems getting their deposit back.

There have been no reports of bed bugs in my quad, but I have met neighbors in other quads who said they did have bed bugs. One family claimed they got it from the neighbors, and the mgmt paid to have their place treated. The noise I have comes from upstairs only. Hope this was helpful. Good luck with your move!

Dear Anon,
I am planning to move in to these apartments, any situation with bed bugs at or near your residence?? Also, you say you can hear your neighbors, is it just the upstairs or downstairs, or the ppl next door?? The apartment I am moving into is renovated. Just wondering why the previous tenants had to flee from there...
Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks!

I've lived her 4 years and although some of the bad things are true (laundry rooms are dirty) in general we are very happy living here. I have never heard of the bed bug issue. The schools are wonderful, the pool is always clean and my children have friends from all over the world.

I have been living here for 2 years and have never had a problem. The ladies in the office are very nice. The only reason they would't like you is if you have given them a reason. And it seems to me you have a lot to complain about, therefore, a reason to not like someone.

The ladies in the office are very rude dont ever rent the apartment if you are asian. they are truly racist. If they continue to show the attitude towards people, they will definitely find their place in the society.

I am really concerned about the bed bugs issue and the noise that are easily heard from a next door neighbor... I am looking to move in an upgraded apartment soon. I am now thinking twice about this. How are the other neighbors, are they the type that plays loud music for everyone to hear?

ummm, after reading all these comments..I'm staying far away from this complex! And the person that remarked that the person Angeles is one of the office woman commenting on this forum is on target! Sounds like she prefers to invest her time on this forum instead of responding and resolving tenants issues which is what she gets paid for! I think that the management company needs to review and revamp what type of office personnel they have in place if they want their apts rented. I know I'm not considering moving there with all the issues involved. Good luck to everyone, wait it out and move out when your lease runs out and read forums like this first before moving into any apt complex.
