The basement in my building leaked water and had a lot of dirt and dust. There was a lot of stuff that should have just been thrown out. It was a mess. One of my neighbors had mold growing on his walls where the floor meets the wall.

One night I woke up with an incredible headache. When I came to, I could barely hear a fire alarm. Eventually I found it coming from the basement. I called the super, who answered immediately at 3 a.m. He came over and we went into the basement where he then cut the fire alarm wires to turn it off. I don't know if it was ever repaired.

When asked to have things repaired, they were never repaired. Faucets leaked and had a lot of calcium build up on it. The ac was useless.

All the decorations were from the 70s, including the fridge, kitchen and bath. When I moved in, they painted; however, they didn't think the top 2" of the wall by the ceiling needed painting, even though you could cleary see the difference between the old paint and the new paint. They wouldn't do it. I ended up taking the paint brush from the guy and did it myself.

Upstairs neighbors smoked and the smoke came in my apt. Also, they had sex frequently and this woke me up several times. Lastly, they had concrete feet and you could hear their every move. Lastly, whenever they did cook, their smells of garlic etc.. wafted throughout the building.
