1) You had to be strong to open and close the apartment door because the door was warped. It was like that when I first moved in; and it stayed the same when I moved out about 4 years later. In fact, most of the doors were like that. Request for fixing was sent in but no feedback.
2) When I first moved in, I was told it's up to me to keep or get rid of the carpet. I decided to keep since it could kill some noises and made the life of people downstairs easier. As I moved out, I was told to remove the carpet myself or I had to pay $300 to hire the Super to do it (inc. some minor cleanings). I picked the latter because I didn't know how big the job was. I believe it was a rip-off. I had to do it because I COULDN'T GET MY SECURITY BACK IF I DIDN'T MAKE THE SUPER HAPPY.
3) Everything was electricity powered: radiator, hot water, stove, oven and everything. One of my utility bills in a cold winter amounted to about $300.
4) The administration was not friendly at all even I paid my rent with punctuality.
To sum up, it's not a right choice at all. I was stuck for some reasons; or I'd be long gone.

the super wanted to save them money by removing it for them also apartment was dirty and needed cleaning,so they would not be charged full price a price was told to them, they agredd with NO regrets ,they new they saved themselves a chunk on money, all apartments have a walk through when they leave and it's up to them to clean everything,i quess trying to save residents time and $$ is not always the best

I had the same carpet problem!!! I, also, would've moved out a long time ago if my personal situation was a bit better.
