It's good... if you don't need anything.

When we moved in 3 years ago, we were promised our broken down kitchen cabinets were on the list to be remodeled with the new oak ones. Hasn't happened yet. Instead we have something resembling Balasm wood for cabinets that when you open a door, the whole cabinet face bends outward because the wood is about 1/18 of an inch thick. Our oven has got to be from 1962. The dials don't match up to what they say. The knobs all broke off so we have a screwdriver to operate it and the range isn't flat even.

Anthony is a money shaker. You need anything done' He'll help you out... for $50.00. My best friend Jim moved in next door. They had to take out the picture window to put the furniture in of course they did it for $50.00 but when I lived there 15 years prior, never a charge. Well they put a massive crack in the window on the way back in and refused to fix it. Anthony offered to help put in Jim's air conditioner... for $50.00. When Jim moved out and put some old furniture on the trailer to be taken to the curb for garbage, Anthony was feeling a little lazy and didn't want to have to haul it so he charged my friend $80.00 to move it for him. He gave him $50.00 and said screw the rest. He moved out 2 years ago and whenever he comes by to see me, he has to hide from Anthony because he's still demanding his $30.00. He hounded my husband and I for months for it wanting to know my friend's cell phone number and where he's living now and he asked for it in sneaky ways. He would say to me, "Hey do you know Jim's call phone number'" "Why do you need it'" "I have to ask him something about the apartment. He took something down off the walls and I was wondering where he left it." Sounds innocent right' Jim calls me and says that he was shaking him down the last $30.00. It took changing his number to get him to go away. When we signed the lease, Anthony told Jim that he was getting our bathroom remodeled a little earlier than planned so he'd like a little compensation for it. So I slipped him $40.00 for it. My husband didn't hear me say I was giving him money and he gave him $50.00. Now a normal person would have said, "Don't worry about it, your wife took care of it already." NOPE. He took all $90.00 from us with a smile.

The neighbor above us barely lived there. She came home like 1 day a month and that was about it. So when she moved out and new people moved in, we never realized how much you can hear. You can hear every footstep they make even in their socks. If someone is in the bathroom, you can hear the entire event taking place. Well the first time they took a shower, the piping was so bad, their shower ran into our ceiling. There is nothing quite like waking up to a flooded, raining bathroom. We called Anthony and he came quickly. It took him 3 days to fix it and every night we had the same problem. Finally he came back and cut this massive hole in our ceiling that wasn't anywhere near the problem site. He sent his plumber in to fix it about 5 days later and they cut another massive hole in a different location. It took a year and a half for them to repair that ceiling after numerous contact times. And WHY did they fix the ceiling' Because the housing inspector came around.

One night we had an electrical storm and it blew out the whole wall that splits the living room from the bedroom. Along that wall covered our TV's, cable boxes, computers, lamps etc... one TV never came back in color again and the motherboard of my computer blew. Alright that's not their fault. What was their fault was the fact that it took 14 days of getting on Anthony's rear end to get someone in there to fix the problem. 14 days of no computer, no internet, no television and minimal lighting. We had wires all over the place to reroute some of the plugs so we could DO anything other than stare at each other. Uno gets old after day 6.

Our faucets in the bathroom in the tub and sink seem to break down on a semi yearly basis. I'm tired of calling them to fix the leaking tub. We are constantly getting black mold on the tub that is getting harder and harder to remove because of the constant stream of water coming from the pipes. Now the tub runs like the amazon constantly and the one and ONLY time Bob came to fix the problem was 8:30am while my husband was in the shower. Seriously... why would someone come to fix a tub at prime time, getting ready for work hour is beyond me. That was 3 weeks ago and has yet to return. My best friend's apartment... when he was about to go on vacation, he had the same problem with the plumbing but in the kitchen. He was about to run out, the faucet fell off in his hand and the water was just running. I had to go get the landlords to fix it and I had to keep checking to see if the sink was overflowing for a few hours before they could get there.

One night in a weekend of TORRENTIAL rain that didn't stop for 3 days 2 years ago, we noticed our bedroom window was leaking. When we pulled the curtains back, there was the great flood pouring through the windows. So we freaked, started taping big wash rags and towels to the window and they'd fill up in minutes. We just didn't have enough towels on hand to keep up with the water. So we called Anthony. His response... "Nothing I can do about it, it's just the heavy rain. Happens to everyone. Just keep moping it up and it'll be fine." My husband refused to accept that and demanded his help. Nothing doing. So he demanded that Anthony recaulk the window on the outside to prevent it from happening again. He refused and said there was nothing he could do to prevent it. So my husband grabbed a caulk gun and did it himself. The problem has never happened again to date.

In short, everything there is very cheaply crafted and done. When they painted, they painted over sockets, door knobs, cabinets everything. Took us forever to plug anything in because we had to keep chiseling the paint off the plugs. Parking is a real pain and doesn't make sense at all. 2 bedroom apartments only get 1 parking space!' And the nearest parking lot to where you live is a hike and has maybe 15 spaces to park. It's not out of the ordinary to be stuck parking on the complete oppostite side of the complex. And the rent goes up by $15-$20 a year.

Plus side' The grounds are nice, the apartment is pretty roomy and comfortable and where our apartment is, the assigned spot is right in front of my door which is convenient. That's about it. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

I agree. I lived there for 2 years, and if yu don't need anything, it is ok. if somethings goes wrong, these stupid super(S) dont even do a thing. They need money for everything. Also there is no office if you need to complain anything. to the plus side, there is a reserved parking, location is perfect- you can board the bus to nyc, very easily, and it is a calm place.
