I've lived at Harbor Terrace for 4 years now and what a mistake. At first I was happy, it was just me and the rent for a studio was affordable. I figured it was well worth the issues that arose. Well was I ever wrong. Place is infested with cockroaches. They make you empty your cabinets every couple of months for the exterminator (where to you put eveything when you live in a studio''') or they charge you $25. What a joke. Management is nice until you move in. Then nothing gets done. I was charged a bogus late fee and after many phone calls which I made I was told someone would get back to me and they never did. FOr the past 4 years I have NEVER even once been late with a payment. EVentually I just paid it but not without wrtiting a letter saying that I would not be renewing my lease. Apartments are mostly section 8 and people are rude. DOn't waste your time or money on HArbor Terrace. Its so not worth the price. Laundry room is disgusting. Not enough parking, dumpsters are always full and garbage is all over the place.

Good afternoon I was searching for apt. in Jersey area. because of my job @ jersey city. Me and my husband saw the pictures and was surprised to see how spacious and affordable this apt. was so we are deciding to move in. I haven't signed any paperwork yet, just thinking do a little more research in the area. But they all see negatives is there any positive feedback. Such as transportation route, shopping, groceries, the view, ets. Please help us to decide if we can move to harbor terrace because the space and rent is really affordable due to NYC rents is very very high. from NYC

Don't even consider it ! My mother lived in Harbor Terrace for years and her apartment was infested with roaches also. Fogging one or two apartments, which is what they do, only deters them from the one apt for a short while. The inside of the walls, foundation, etc is infested!! My mother had roaches living under her dining room chairs, in back of picture frames, crawling on walls, in the soap dish, and when I reached for a paper towel, a roach rolled down with it. I could not even stay with her while visiting and it broke her heart, but I couldn't. There were roaches on the inside of her digital alarm clock! I wouldn;t live there for free.

I moved in to Harbor Terrace in 04/2009. My experience so far has been good. I have absolutely no insects and my neighbors are courteous and respectful. There is always parking, if not in front of the building in the adjacent parking areas. It depends on what time you get home. My partner and I both get up early to go to work and go to bed early and have not has issue with noise at all. I moved here from Harbor Town Ports and am 100% happier here.
