I lived here for two years, the apartments are big and the rent is reasonable, and the bayviews are pretty but don't let appearances deceive you. There are hardwood floors in all the buildings (very thin floorboards) NJ law requires that 80% of the floors be covered but the people who live in the buildings refuse to cover their floors and wear shoes with heels so if you don't live on the top floor there is constant noise from above. Without rugs the volume level of TVs and music is much louder coming from all sides, from above and below. The people who live there are very very rude and will curse at you if you ask them in a nice way to lower the music. For instance offically only two people live in a flat but in reality there are 4 or 5 people living above you and bedrooms are used as living rooms.The management refuses to do anything about people not covering their floors even though every renter signs a doc. agreeing to cover 80% of the floors. It sounds like someone is in your bedroom when people enter their rooms with heels on during the night. The people who live there feel everyone has the right to blast music as loud as they want anytime day and night. I have called the police numerous times because of the parties that go on all night. A lot of section 8 people do not have to get up for work. There are no security cameras in the lobbies or hallways, the buzzer system to open the downstairs door runs on a landline phone system, the majority of the people who rent have cell phones so instead of going downstairs to open the door for their visitors they break the locks so the doors remain open all the time. The management does nothing. Bands of small children run wild in the lobby trashing it until the wee hours. If your windows face the front the noise is very bad, horns beeping and loud music blasting out of cars. I must mention that you have to empty your kitchen of all contents for roach spraying every two months. There is trash all over the parking lots. The staff is very friendly but they do nothing, "Just we will take care of it". And if you like powerful cell phone towers on the roof where you live; building 18 it is the place for you. (How safe is that')

Agreed on everything. They added security cameras in bldg 18 to protect management, but the back fire door was broken for two months
