I have been living in Harbor town for almost 2 years now. I have to say that I have been very happy with my apartment as far as living space is concern, plenty of living space. My complaint is with how Middlesex Management is handling their rental practices. When I first moved into Harbor town I was under the impression that it was a working community. Middlesex management gave me the impression that it was, because they made me go through an extensive credit and reference check. So I felt I was doing the right thing moving in to Harbor town. Shortly after moving in I realized that it was all a mirage. This is not the working community Middlesex management led us to belief.

There are too many section 8 families living in Harbor town, their children lack discipline and respect. The parents just dont care or have any sense of respect for other people property. They are destroying the landscape, playing areas. Everything is just a mess. There are still some good hard working people in Harbor town, but unless something is done right away. They will all leave.

Harbor town is a breeding community for crime, loud and disrespectful people. Not to say that all Section 8 families are unruly, but most of them just let their children run around and making noise at all times of the day. Sometimes I wonder if these children go to school. Harbor town terrace has a great deal of potential to be a great community, but Middlesex Management must intervene right away, or HTT will be just another housing project.

My second year lease is about to expire and Im taking my family out of there.

You are right. The building materials are cheap and everything breaks in the house. The adults in HTT are worse than the children. Yhey are Loud and rude. The kids write on the walls and destroy the aluminun siding by burning it with lighters. The parents don't say a thing. The security is a joke. I also thought i was moving my family into a working class neighborhood. NO ONE TOLD ME that the place was full of a bunch dangerous, out of control, miscreant section-eight animals. The reality is i felt safer in the getto. Peoples houses are broken into all the time and we're surounded by sex offenders and peodaphiles. These filthy undisiplined youths hang out in front of my bedroom window day and night. My family is especially disturbed because the playground is located directly across from our unit. The youths and adults drink and break bottles in the playground and no one does anything about it. The development just wants the money. The place is really beginning to look run down. My one year lease is up in four months. i'm moving back to the getto where it's safe. Save yourself some heartach. DON'T MOVE IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been leaving in harbortown for years now and i'm sure i'm not gonna be there long. Its a shame that the maintenace management is ridiculous....well, they give you a number to call for example been there 3years you're due fresh painting you leave messages no one is returning your phone call after they had fixed cracks on the wall and were to come clean the carpet and never did so I hope when I move they will not say that they're not giving me deposit back beoz something is broken. the material they sued was so cheap from the taps to the door locks to all. Crime is increasing and its sad becoz we have some working class people there who are not there during the day. One day came home and found someone had broken into my apartment and stole the house phone and DVD's how cheap was this robber? then one time I was fixing my car jsut ran to the house for a minute coming back found a guy by the car and I asked him why he goes like he was jsut passing by`I did not want to pursue it coz I don't wonna be in ----! Be careful and that they keep increasing the rent but it jsut sacks...for example, snow...it snows, they don't put salt on the roads...ground and they do not shovel!.....how the hell are you supposed to shovel the whole court. Section 8 tenants ridiculous, Ilive near one and the palce is so Ghetto...they write on the walls, the water pipe from the roof was torn off, the side walls were ripped, they drink and leave the bottles outside or even on your parking space:....the fliers that are delivered on Saturdays are opened apart and fly all over the place: What is this? PROJECTS now.....?
