So finally they got our conract so we can sign the lease and pay. Everything seems to be working out to our advantage. I hope we dont have any real issues. I am so happy cuz this place is a lot nicer and bigger then our place now. We move in on the first. My issue is I hope our mail doesnt get mixed up. I live on the mail I always get mail. So far I love this place. I believe it will be a good experience.

Typically before you rent in any complex it is adviseable to visit the complex at diffent times of the day/evening and days of the week (weekday & weekend) to see what types of people are hanging around and see what type of activity is going on. The reviews here are definitely helpful in getting an idea of the different experiences that people have had and while they should not be taken too lightly, the complex is pretty large and there may be more activity in certain sections than in others. In this complex it seems like a standard recommendation is to avoid units near the playground (wherever that may be), not to say that is the only "bad" section of the complex though. In general Middlesex Management properties are not built with the best of materials so thin walls are common in the old AND new complexes. This I know from experience having lived in 3; In one instance I was the 2nd tenant in the unit and two instances I was/am the first tenant in the unit. They skimp on insulation, they skimp on updating major appliances to energy efficiency standards, they skimp on making sure windows in their properties are energy efficient, they skimp on carpeting and carpet padding, must I say more? One thing that they really screw people on is if your lease says "NO PETS PERMITTED" absolutely DO NOT allow the sales agent in any Middlesex Management property advise you that it is OK to have a pet. You are signing the lease and agreeing to everything therein. Don't risk losing your security deposit when you move out as a result of per related repairs that they will definitely charge you for. Getting back to the original subject.......It is what it is. Vistit the police department for general information on incidences in the community. These apt complexes cater to people of every racial/ethic denomination as well as financial status so with that sometimes there can be "challenges". If you can, definitely see if you can chat with tenants in the surrounding area of your future unit, it certainly can't hurt and if you find them to be stand-offish, well then you know what type of folks you'll have as neighbors and conduct yourself accordingly. There are people who you will find to be downright disgusting who have no problem throwing garbage all over the place, who have no respect for anything or anyone, who are ignorant and outspoken, who have kids who are misbehaved (to put it nicely) and the list goes on and on. You have the opportunity to choose the complex and the floorplan, and if you are lucky you can choose the exact unit to live in, unfortunately, you cannot choose your neighbors, so just prepared to deal with the good and the bad. Best of luck to you.

pay rent on time or end up paying fees through your nose 1,425.00 rent, 50.00 late fee,150.00 lawyers fee all this happens on the 10Th of each month if rent is not paid management will send you a second bill with these charges and no break its very hard for working families with childrens to pay that its an abuse (and they leave court papers stuk to your door instead of sending papers in mail like court says. so every body knows your been evicted this is my first year iam looking to move out by next year i like the place but its deprimental the way management handle things
