Beautiful view!

Great breeze off the water. Downside: stirs up a lot of dust and dirt.

Woefully inadequate electrical outlets.

Four phone jacks---one works. Big $$$ to have them turned back on.

FILTHY laundry room---no change machine.

Heat included in rent. VERY erratic, ranging from little or no heat, to fiery, blow-out the windows intensity.

Hot water also included in rent. Hot water available most of the time.

Old/poor electrical wiring is a possible fire hazard. Effects cable TV service.

Security features are lax. Front door uses a pass key and intercom system, but back door is always left open.

Exterminator comes on a semi-regular basis. No problems with insects other than the run of the mill type. Have seen mouse droppings in some closet/cabinet areas.

Scheduled street cleaning/alternate side of the street parking, Mon./Tues.

Your car WILL be towed! $100+ to get it back.

Just for fun, the street cleaner comes screaming through every Saturday morning @ 7am.

Noise from street traffic under normal circumstances is slightly above average. However, with waterfront renewal project underway, the construction noise has become almost unbearable from 6AM-3PM.

Off street parking available for a price. Street parking at a premium partly due to:

A large group (5-15) of retired and/or unemployed men hang out across the street, all day, every day, weather permitting. It sounds as though they have a great time.

Fisherman and boardwalk visitors.

Waterfront gazebo attracts loud late-night revelers. Police must be called on a regular basis.

Waterfront "improvements" will be lovely to look at, but sure to draw bigger crowds of the above mentioned.

Run-down playground attracts unruly youth. New and improved playground promised for 2 yrs. When finally complete will probably still attract unruly youth.

Elevator is small, smelly, and unreliable, out of order several times a year.

Rent increased 3%-5% annually.

Resident manager is a great guy, but unfortunately, no longer a resident.

Do not plan on shopping in the downtown area unless you speak Spanish.

Elementary schools are very good, but anything after that is not recommended. Very poor test scores on standardized tests.

If i were to move there that back door would have to be locked. Period.
