Spent two years at Rachel Gardens and was disappointed from day one. We were promised new carpeting and appliances prior to moving in and neither were provided.

For the two years we lived there the rent increased because, we were told, they were beefing up security and they were adding a pool. The pool didn't go in until a year after we moved out and the security was terrible-cars were broken into and 'bumped' and nothing was ever done.

The one positive was that when things did break down, they were fixed quickly...however we had contiunual problems with hot water.

Utilities, especially water, were outrageous. The complex abuts a watershed/wetlands area so the mosquitoes were terrible in the summer.

After moving out I had to request my security deposit a number of times and didn't get it until the last possible day (by law).
