I have to tell you that these apartments are very nice but the people in the leasing office are rude and very unprofessional!!! Patricia (who is supposedly the office manager) shows absoulutely no type of professionalism when dealing with potential renters. I myself did not have the experience but a friend of mine did. He was hung up on three times by Patricia when trying to find answers to his questions. When he called back he was told that she was going to file harrassment charges if he called back again. I was standing directly next to him when he was speaking to her and did not once raise his voice or act disrespectful. The call was on speakerphone so I heard both sides of the conversation...Patricia was rude to him and extremely disrespectful. When he asked to speak to someone higher up, she told him he she was the only one he could talk to. She was absolutely no help at all. I am at a loss as of where to go from here. There has to be someone else he can talk to but she will not give that information. If anyone who lives at this property can help with this, please let me know. Thanks.

I agree with you 100%. The staff are VERY unprofessional and have no manners. They will put you on hold forever if they really don't want to talk to you and then when speaking to you, they make you feel as if its your fault for the problem they are causing you. I myself had a bad experience with that porky Patricia Brooks, who acts like she is the office manager but doesn't know crap & can't even manage her own fat ass. And her chubby sidekick Rose, she will be just as rude and they will both chuckle about it, munch on beef jerkey, and not care. If you are looking to give your money to a bunch of ungrateful leechs who only care about making money than ensuring their tenants are happy, then this is the PLACE FOR YOU! When you try to call their management company, American Gardens in New Hyde Park, NY the dumb receptionist can't help you either stating there are no managers there that deal with customers. My question then is which monkeys are running this sham and don't have a manager who deals with customers at the corporate level? HONESTLY...DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

It never ceases to amaze me that fellow residents think they have the right to speak the way you jsut have and think anyone would listen to you. You offered no information, jsut personal attacks> Why not tell us WHY he could not be helped> How much time did he expect the staff to waste on him as long as he did not get vulgar? You sound like someone who the complex is better off without, I do hope you have moved becuase I would hate to think you are one of my neighbors! You are ignorant, but I am certain you already know that!!
