Do not believe what you're told! This place is crawling with termites because all of the buildings have rotted wood, the management is the absolute worst you'll ever deal with, they raise the rent every year and only maintain the grounds near the front. The back has no landscaping to speak of and crappy parking. The windows are old (except near the front) and if the wind blows outside, you get a breeze inside(with them shut!) They are so not worth it. They also had several attempted breakins lately that they've done nothing to deter.

It's required to raise the rent a certain amount every year, thistinks. And the windows are in the process of being replaced with new ones, not just near the front. I live in the back and I have the new windows. If you are still around when your apartment gets them, you will see how great they are. And as for the break-ins, what do you want the apartment complex to do? Chalet Gardens police force? I have a sneaking suspicion that you may be under eviction or something similar, because your arguments are either baseless or completely false. Come back when you have something constructive to contribute.

Okay I have been here 4 years and they have only raised my rent 1 time, we just got our renewal for 6/08-6/09, no increase. I love the new windows and I dont live in the front! And I dont know where you have termites. In your head maybe! No break-ins, no anything that you stated in your poor review. The landscaping is nice but HELLO its still in the 30s in the morning what do you expect its still cold out for anything to be in full bloom. God some people.

I was not pleased and I was going to move. Carol did not seamed interested in my needs and concerns. Drug activities WERE running rampant and crime was a daily occurance. ENTER, the new management and maintenance staff!! The new property manager actually lives here and runs the community like it is their neighborhood, not just a profit margin. Maintenance is always responsive, I needed to call Junus a few weeks ago with a plumbing issue and he was here in TEN MINUTES!! If he had been here with the last crew three years back, he would have taught them a few thinjgs!
As of now, Patrica has cleaned up the back and I can have my nephew at the playground without any worries.
PS
I hope the rise in gas prices deoes not raise my rent, though rent has hel steady so far!

I don't know what you people are complaining about!!! I have not had any problems with management, maintenance or exterminators. You should have to live in a place where the property was sold every other year and the rules changed whenever the new management came in. Insofar as the complex, it could use a fact lift - after all it is over 30 years old!!!! In this economy we may not see that real soon, but I am sure it is in the works!!! Re: rents being raised every year, maybe you do not pay your rent on time, but how are they supposed to upgrade the place if your rent does not go up?!?!? People, be glad you have a roof over your head - I challenge all of you to go out and find a replacement apartment better than what you have right now at the price you are paying. I guarantee you that you will not find it in this area or a 50 mile radius of here - believe me, I have already done the homework on this one!!! If it is that bad just leave - maybe in this economy you can find a foreclosure that suits your needs; then you can find out what it is like to be paying for all of your own maintenance, heat and hot water - good luck!!!!!!!
