I have just ended my first year here at Chalet. I am reading all of these reviews and wonder what makes some people complain like this is RUSSIA!!! People, get a life, be glad you have a roof over your head. If you do not like the rules and regulations, leave. If you can't pay your rent on time, or you don't like your neighbors, or you are too loud - leave. Don't blame your problems on management; you probably can't manage yourself and are very upset because you can't find the right buttons to push to get management to give in to your childish nonsense. If it is that bad for you I challenge you to go find another place that fits into your budget that will have what you have here. If you have bugs, call for the exterminator. If you have repairs that are that bad and not getting done, call the BOH - they will be happy to come and take a look into your complaints. If you don't have the common sense to approach your gripes in a mature manner - take a look at yourself in the mirror - do you have a case of "terminal uniqueness and terminal whining"'' Are you one that just likes to cry about everything'' GET A LIFE!!
Be glad you have a roof over your head and deal with the problems that you are encountering - in the big scheme of things, how important is it'!'!'!'
Sorry if you feel management is too tough - they are only doing their job! Feel like you are being picked on, or not being paid enough attention to' Sorry about that - grow up. Go buy one of the many foreclosures that are out on the market and then you can find out what life is really like. I am sure you will enjoy paying for all of your utilities, repairs, new roofs, etc. Some people just don't know when they have it good. If you play by the rules you won't have many problems here - if you want to continue to act immature and complain, God help you - you are creating your own misery!!
For those of you looking to rent, CHALET is Not a bad place!! Just has some people who think they are in some million dollar neighborhood and should complain about everything all the time. People like that are a dime a dozen!! Pray that you don't get them for your neighbor!!

You must be one of the chalet staff who live here for FREE...... Or one of the new low income residents... Thats the only 2- kind of people who would say there happy with a roof over there head?????????? Anyone should be able to call the office with a issue thats why they are there, maybe they havent relized that yet... Sure that Patricia wont be there for long.....

No, sorry I am not Chalet staff who live here for free!! By the way, there are only 3 people who are staff who "live here for free" while they still pay for elect., phone, cable, etc. I don't think that is "Free". And, no, definately not a new low income resident - I happen to work a full time job and a part time job - how about you - in here on welfare???? Patricia has been here for a while now and I don't see her going anywhere soon. Perhaps if you had a better attitude you could get people to listen to your issues. As I previously stated, there are many people who have been here for double-diget years (that means 10,15,20 or more!!) and if it was that bad they would have left by now. Some people just not happy with anything or anyone, so if the shoe fits, wear it!! Have a nice life some other than CHALET - perhaps you need to look into Millbridge or somewhere in Lindenwold!! PS - by the way, learn to use spell check for correct grammar, spelling and punctuation!!! Did you graduate high school/college/grad school???think NOT!!

For someone who has to work two jobs just to pay his/her cost of living, you write lengthy reviews. Where do you find the time? Moving on. I???ve lived at Chalet going on two years now and like most reviewers, I don???t share your sentiment about the office staff. I pay the standard rent prior to the due date every month. Do you really believe that everyone who passes through Chalet???s office is treated fairly? I know a few people who would object to that idea. Just as I know a few people that love the place. However, I would like to know on what grounds gives you the authority to discredit and criticize other people. The purpose of Apartmentratings.com is not to attack people for their feelings toward those who are considered landlords but to leave a general overview of your own PERSONAL experience with the subject matter. Oh yeah! By the way, I???m a college graduate. Have a nice stay at Chalet Gardens. PS. I think you should find different outlet to relieve your frustrations.

WOW! What a nut! Before I start I would just like to say, maybe you should go back and read your long book before you jump on anyone. There were quite a few mistakes. First off, you have only lived here for a year...yes I was quite satisfied myself after a year too, but then on came my second year and now I am not so happy. Things happen, things change, but before you go ranting and raving about how horribly the office staff is treated maybe you should think about how the office staff treats the tenants before you point the finger. I will admit that yes, some people jump the gun and start yelling and carrying on before any attitude is given, but do you honestly believe that is the case in every situation. Maybe the office staff needs to check the baggage at the door and not treat every tenant the same as the tenant who yells for no reason. Maybe you should relax a little on your comments and think before you type.
