I have an upstairs 1BR apartment. Clean, well-maintained, maintenance fast & friendly, property manager wonderful. Beautiful grounds. GARAGES available for $50/month additional and they allow pets - a godsend for recently-divorced me with a cat and a motorcycle. Apartment is cramped after living in 3BR house but is about 640 sq ft, OK for 1 person. Closet space OK.

Negatives: Electric everything. Smaller fridge. Kitchen is tiny. Parking can be an ordeal if you come home late at night - often no spaces left, have to park in fire zone, sometimes clear across complex. Sound insulation is horrible - I can hear every word my downstairs neighbors say, in normal voice levels, as well as their son?s nightly violin practice. Can hear downstairs neighbor snoring at night.

Get home before 10 pm, buy a white noise machine, and this place is fine.
