Overall I have been very happy here and am sorry to be leaving. Here's my 2? rundown:

Pros: weekday office staff incredibly nice, large rooms, well maintained, nice grounds, pet friendly (and people are pretty good about making sure their pets are never a problem with noise or mess). I really like the little wall oven and having my own water heater (no shower running cold because a neighbor is running the dishwasher). Assigned storage unit in the basement. Semi-private entrance with mailbox right next to it, so you don't have to trek to the office- and it feels much less impersonal. The residents are friendly, the price is great, and they're very accommodating.

Cons: As several people have mentioned, parking is a real problem if you get home later in the evening (after 8 or 9 PM in some instances). To their credit they are trying to address this by requiring people to get rid of non-functional cars. I can definitely hear my downstairs neighbor, but I'm not too sensitive to that. I could use a bigger kitchen and more closet space. Snow/ice removal is fine in the parking lot but not great on the sidewalks, and particularly bad on paths for getting from the parking lot to the sidewalks. There's a window in the shower so the paint keeps peeling and getting mildewed. (They do repair this quickly once you tell them about it.) And my kind-of-weird, but biggest, beef- the way the entrance doors are set up, it is very difficult to navigate them if you happen to be carrying anything!
