I live in a 1 BR on the first floor with my fiance, and I have to say the rest of the reviews are accurate--this is a great place to live! The grounds are beautiful, safe, and well-maintained, it truly is a "park-like" setting. They just openend up the new pool last year. It's very nice and best of all it's free to residents! Not the case at our last apartment.
The biggest draw here is the fact that they allow pets of all kinds--big dogs, little dogs, cats, you name it. There's a dog run and people are always out walking their dogs, saying hello. The location is great, right off 287 but quiet enough to have that out-of-the-way residential feel.
I love the staff here, both ladies in the front office are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. And they STAY friendly even after you've moved in, a rarity in apartment living! The maintenance guys are fast and always do a great job. For the most part the neighbors are pleasant and curteous; the population skews younger. Not too many young children though. We've had no problems whatsoever with the noise level, I hear my upstairs neighbor but nothing more than normal living noises. I guess it all depends on your tolerance and your neighbors' curtousy!
A few things could be better:
Parking is OK but as others said can be a pain if you get home late. Not a big deal if you don't mind walking. Since the lots are located around the perimeter of the general apartment area, you may have a little trek which can be tedious especially if you're carrying something.
The inside of the apartments are nothing special in appearance but fine. Minimal bugs in the summer. Closet space is lacking, but they give each tenant a large storage area in the basement, for which you have to walk around the building. No porches or balconies in any of the apartments. No washer/dryer combo either but the laundry rooms are clean and adequate.
The only thing we'd do differently next time is get a 2-BR! The 1 BR apts are fine for one person, but way too small for two.

I see that you mention "normal living noises". Sounds like the speech that they give all of the residents when they move in. And if your neighbor is courteous, please send them my way. Our neighbor is completely disrespectful, spiteful and noisy. Consider yourself very lucky.
