This place couldn't be more wrong for people who love peace and quiet and considerate neighbors. Oh where do I begin''' The parking situation has become a complete nightmare. If you get home at 6 p.m. and don't plan on leaving your apartment, you can get a space. God forbid you have a life. You might as well get a bus pass. As far as the apartments go, the walls are paper thin and the appliances are ancient. When you have a problem with unruly neighbors making noise, be prepared to call maintenance and have management give you the "It is normal living noises for garden apartments" speech! Then they can absolutely villify you for following orders and "bothering them with childish behavior" i.e. expecting the problem to get solved. This can go on and on until you are so fed up with the situation that your last resort is to involve the local police. In that case, what good is it to have a manager of the complex' They are obviously of the mentality that letting time pass will solve all of the problems. Unfortunately that doesn't work. I can go on with this subject forever, as speaking from personal experience the situation has only seemed to have escalated when management was notified. Do yourself a favor if you are looking into these apartments...Go elsewhere! And as for those great laundry rooms that they promote' You would be better off washing your clothes in your bathtub and hanging them out to dry. The washers rarely all work and the dryers eat the tokens that are mandatory for their use. I do agree that the office lady(Nancy) is very nice, however at the end of the day she isn't the one who handles things. Speaking from first hand experience, I am not writing this to simply bash this place...it does that on it's own. So in closing, do yourself a favor and save your time and money. Sincerely a good tenant who is ready to move on to a better living experience!

Wow for someone so concerned about noise you were parting until 1:30 in the morning the other night. Do you think noise only comes into your apartment and not out? For anyone else reading this please know that this person is extremely noisy and has an unrealistic expectations of their neighbors and perhaps we should all cut our feet off so not to disturb these nuts with our walking when we need to use the bathroom any time of day!

It's funny how this guy has so much to say now, but had nothing to say on the night when my dad, 2 older brothers, and boyfriend were all there. I find it sad that this 50 year old man gets his kicks out of harassing young women with the hopes that they won't stand up for themselves. I tried the nice approach for almost a year, and asked him politely several times to turn his music down on Saturday or Sunday at 7am. I guess I should have included "Please don't vacuum your hardwood floors and the common stairwell at this hour either." Several complaints to the management staff have proved completely unsuccessful, as they tell you one thing, and then tell their boss something completely different. According to the staff here, these are "normal living noises." Obviously no one wants to live near our neighbor- I mean hey, his ex-wife clearly didn't want to, neither did the girls that lived in our apartment before us (who moved out before their lease even ended), and now we can't wait to get the hell away from him either. Like many places in this area, these apartments are older and in many ways run down, but none of this would matter if you had neighbors that were respectful, and a maintenance/ management crew that did what they said they were going to do without you having to ask them several times. If you don't mind going without sleep during your year-long lease, then hey, this is the place for you! Otherwise, I think you should look elsewhere.

Hmm...let's work this one out with some logic, try to keep up. 1. You seem to be the only person in the unit with issues. 2. Instead of making reports or simply talking with your neighbors, you've decided it would be better to start conflict. You've slammed windows, slammed doors, insulted people through their windows. 3.It's not like you even attempted to approach any of the residents to talk things over. So, don't be so quick to call people childish when you can't even manage to man-up enough to confront someone directly. 4. Karma is one heck of a mistress. Enjoy.

Starlily58, please do yourself the biggest favor and go elsewhere. If you want to be surrounded by juvenile individuals who have nothing better to do than start trouble then by all means move to this place. However, if you are looking for respectful neighbors, this is definitely not for you. It certainly isn't for me. And to the last person to comment: GROW UP! Funny how you seem to label people as "coward" and "miserable" when you walk around with a permanent frown on your face and feel the need to yell out of your windows when someone is outside. Your door slamming incidents and spiteful actions are childish, but taking one look at you, that is about your speed. Also funny how you seem to know so much about your neighbors who you have never once said "hello" to, but from day one have given dirty looks and been nasty towards. Real mature.

Sooo, which building is all this taking place in? Is it by the road, by the pool? Are either of you moving out over this?

as a person reviewing my options, this is clearly not one

Geez... I can't believe this has turned into a forum for immature people to vent their anger issues. Clearly this is not a true indication of the many tenants, myself included, who enjoy living here.

I am unable to continue reading these comments without participating myself. I have lived here for 5 years and have never encountered any problems. All my neighbors which have come and gone have been fabulous. I live with my boyfriend and his two young boys are with us, and recently a dog has joined our crew. We have had discussions with most of our surrounding neighbors regarding whether we are too loud, or they are too loud. My boyfriend and I strive to accommodate appropriate requests as do our neihgbors. At one point 2 young ladys were living below us. They had very noisy parties, including leaving beer bottles and cigarette butts on the porch. Bob immediately responded to our complaints, and we never had a problem with this issue again. We understand that while living in an apartment you need to tolerate certain sounds and noises such as: toilettes flushing, occasional arguments from surrounding neighbors and sexual realations that occur in the middle of the night(nothing wrong with that). Dogs barking? Why would anyone complain about this when they know darn well that they have chosen an apartment that allows pet?
