I have lived in Rivercrest for almost 4 years now. My first year or two were great- I had respectful neighbors, the maintenance crew was happy to help, and although my apartment was not the newest, I considered it decent for this area. Sadly though, this place has gone way downhill over the years. Outside, the property grounds are well-kept, but unfortunately I cannot say the same for the interior. By far the biggest problem is that a lot of WHITE TRASH have moved into this place, and for that reason alone I am getting the hell out of here as soon as possible. Once you take a look elsewhere, you'll realize that you can get new appliances, a washer/ dryer IN your apartment, ample parking, and a higher class of neighbors for the same money as Rivercrest. I lived underneath someone with 2 dogs for quite some time, and it was a nightmare hearing the sound of the dogs' nails scratching against the hardwood floors all day and night. I love dogs, but this place has taught me that it is not really ideal to have them above you running around on hardwood floors. This is just my two cents, but when I read the other posts about noise being an issue here, I realized that I wasn't alone. I suggest you pass on this one...

RCMAN, I don't who you are and I certainly didn't mean to offend you. My understanding was that this site was established for people to express their freedom of speech and to help others who may be considering a certain complex. I don't know why you're trying to pick a fight with me. Quite frankly, if you don't like what I have to say, then find something else to do with your time... it's that simple. And to the anonymous responder, I'm sure you see that this is exactly why I said I wouldn't recommend moving to this place.....

Complaining about pet noises in a complex known for its pet-friendly stance. I think the paint in your apartment may have lead in it. Sure, everyone, there are disgruntled people everywhere itching to complain. But, this poster is simply an asinine bumpkin who has caused more problem for the complex then they're worth. All of us are glad to say good-riddance to the real trash.

Thanks for the review. My girlfriend and I are looking for apartments in this area and this place is on our list. After reading some of the last few reviews and responses, I think we are going to scratch it off our list. We don't want to live in a place congested with so much arguing. Does anyone know of any other good complexes?
