I moved in there three years ago, my husband and I were saving up for a home. The apartments are a decent size and we found the rent affordable. My biggest complaint was with the management and maintenance staff. It was like pulling teeth to get someone to fix something in the place. When making a request for maintenance, the call was forwarded to a sort of answering service who would in turn put the request into the folks at the complex. Having such a "middleman" made it easier for staff to pretend they didn't get the service call! Calling the management office was of little help, either.
Another big issue was the seasonal roach problem- occasional in our apartment, but even one is one too many in my opinion!!! The exterminator was actually pretty good, but it's a tough problem to mitigate in a fairly good sized building.
When we first moved in, we had horrible neighbors who were constantly throwing parties. We soon got new neighbors- a couple who was very quiet. The walls were so thin, however, that man's snoring would keep us up at night if we didn't keep the fan running!
I'm so glad to be out of there, finally!!!
