I've been here for less than a year and this place is the worst apartment I've ever lived in. To be fair, I guess it really depends on what kind of neighbors you have. 1) I live on the lower level only because I'd rather not have carpets in my apartment. All upper levels are supposed to have carpets. Well, I'm guessing they don't have them. I can hear them walk. Especially with the little girl that runs around 24/7, it can be quite irritating.
They also should enforce the number of occupants in an apartment. I live in a 1-bedroom and I'm guessing it's a 1-bedroom above me too!!! There's like 6 people that live up there and they also like to invite a bunch of people over, talk really loud in hindi, etc. I'm not too happy having so many people walk up and down the stairs so often in one afternoon.
2) Then, the people who live next door to me like to blast the rap music either early in the morning or late at night. Neighbors are unfriendly!!!
3) I have a hard time doing laundry because I'm usually away on weekends. The main office closes too early. They're open when I'm at work and closed when I get off, so I never get to replenish my laundry card. My laundry bag pretty much travels with me everywhere.
4) Although parking is not assigned, some people seem to think that they "OWN" certain spots. I've been parked in my spot several times. People are parking outside of parking zones for their own conveniences. It makes getting in and out of the parking lot a huge hazard and very much of a hassle.
5) My door knob has been replaced twice already. I would come home and the whole door knob would be missing. I really don't know why.
6) I don't know why, but people like to loiter around here....
7) I've made several complaints about my neighbor living kids toys and random things in the common areas (entrance area)...about parking, etc, but doesn't seem like management has done anything to fix the problems. I pretty much gave up
8) Oh! They also switched out my thermostat so the highest setting is 70F, and that is not warm enough for me in the winter....

I certainly agree with this review. It touch base on some of the things I left out as well.

I lived in that hell hole for 6 months. I almost laughed out loud (literally) when you mentioned there needing to be a limit on the number of people they allow to occupy. I lived on the second floor and downstairs in a one bedroom there was easily 8 or 9 people and 2 children down there full time. The noise was horrible as there were no carpeting on the floor downstairs. Parking was pretty bad, too many cars and not enough spaces. The neighborhood is definitley sketchy. Piscataway has changed for the worse over the years. Apparently they are not screening these people before they let them rent. They are loud, unclean and overall nuisances. Management are money hungry, half assed idiots who only care about getting their rent every month. Meanwhile the work they do is slipshod and subpar at best. When I moved in the place almost caught fire due to a faulty socket shooting sparks. Your better off owning if you can afford it.
