I just recently viewed the model apartment at Deer Creek. Now I know never to expect nearly the same thing as the model but when there are things wrong with the model you know something's up. I'll start by saying there was a big water spot on the ceiling in the bathroom. Then I actually saw bugs crawling on the floor in the bedroom. Also I think they use the term upgraded kitchen loosely. The appliances in there stepped right out of 1975.

Not only were the problems with the model but their office is a mess itself with stains all over the carpet. How can you handle taking care of my apartment when your office and model have issues of their own.

We also looked at Deer Creek right after Hunter's Glen and the woman we were with was like "oh they don't have walk in closets do they'" So that's why the rent would be an extra 100 to 300 dollars'

I'm just going to leave the ratings where they are since i can't actually comment on those.

but is is a lovely apartment community. yeah, the office is like doing business in a bathroom, no privacy to conduct your business. This complex is close in my opinion to becoming one of aimco's extinct properties along with fox run.It is so obvious that aimco is looking to dump these properties and are doing little upgrades here and there,not for residents but for prospective buyers looking. They really do not care what level of management they throw in there.It is the same story over and over.A property manager should be accessible 7 days a week or a representative.Not a commission hungry lease lease consultant that is in office all weekend.management comes and goes with this place.they really don't care about their residents.
