One word....HEAP!!!!!

When I was looking for an apartment last year I was really wanted a place with gas heat to keep costs down. We took a tour of the model since they would not let us see the actual apartment. Marcia showed us around and we thought it wasn't bad. We later went to look around the apartment the woman spoke of so we could see what our neighbors would be like. Unfortunately no one was around but the apartment door was unlocked so we went in. That should have been my first clue, but being naive I signed a lease.

Upon moving in, there was paint all over the rug, a bent shower curtain, and the fan was broken in the bathroom. I mentioned it to the office and friendly enough they said they would fix it in two days (WHAT A LIE!!!).

Winter came along and we soon realized how badly this place was built. There was a gap below the front door where cold air and snow would drift in. This would also happen with the sliding glass door and the bedroom window and I live on the second floor. Next went the roof. After one rain storm it leaked and they never came to fix it!

As mentioned by other people writing the reviews, the gas and water bills were astronomical. They claim the each apartment has its own set of pipes and a meter. That does not explain how when my neighbor gets in her shower every morning I get scalded with hot water.

If you intend to wash your clothes, do not move here. The laundry rooms are in the basement and not safe. Not mention dry. The window broke last fall and they didn't even replace it all year long! I am not sure if it was the lack of the window or the pipes that burst in the ceiling, but the laundry room has been flooded for over 4 months! The ceiling finally came crashing down 3 months ago and the office has done nothing about it! I spoke to Richard Dey (arogant ass that runs the place) in the office and he claims that the contractors are working on it. I did not even mention that if you are a woman it is not safe to go do your laundry by yourself.

This place is so ghetto, last week there was graffitti on the building at the apartment with no windows and the contrators use as a storage facility/pub. English is not a known language here and being an illegal immigrant is a trend.

If you live here find a place before your lease runs out. They charge an extra $300 a month to stay month to month. Tack that onto $956 a month and you are paying for a $1256 heap. If you don't live here, don't trust the leasing office, they are slumb lords!!!!
My husband an I are moving out in two weeks to a much nicer place never to return here.
