My girlfriend and I wanted to move into an apartment that accepted dogs. We liked the plainsboro area so we looked at the 5 or 6 different ones in the area. They are all basically the same but we decided to go with Fox Run because of the pond out back, the trail, and the fact that the oven used gas instead of electric and the gas is included in rent. I was a bit apprehensive to move in once i read all the reviews on this website but i decided to risk it. I have to say I am extremely happy with the apartment. When we moved in they had a "welcome home" sign with my name on it in the leasing center, our keys were ready and the person who helped us had our file all set. As we went into our apartment for the first time, we saw a worker, Eric, who informed us he just checked the stove to make sure the pilot light was on and he said everything was good. the walls in the apartment were all freshly painted, the carpets all vacuumed, and the kitchen and bathroom were clean. It smelt a bit like Indian people but what are you going to do when the former occupants were indian' fyi irish spring bar soap helps. we left the windows open all night so we had a mosquito and a bee in te apartment the next day but none of the rats and ants that the other reviews mentioned. we have seen some nice families in the area outside enjoying the day and people working on their cars but it has been quiet and a very nice place to stay. We ran into Eric several times and he smiled and asked if we needed anything. The leasing office was also very nice.
Overall i feel safe in the apartment, it is clean, and a definate step up for us. I do not anticipate any problems but should any arise, i will post it. I would recommend Fox Run to anyone who would like to move into a quiet neigborhood with wonderful apartments and a helpful staff. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS

You do pay for gas, they just dont know how to explain the bill to you. The smell of Indian food is in your apartment because they probably didnt clean the carpet properly. And Erik is the one that will take the quickest and cheapest way to fix something. Sorry, but it's true.

I do agree with this resident. reading all the bad reviews you tend to not want to move in, but when I met the leasing agent she was very nice as oppose to the lady over at Raven's Crest so i decided to take a chance. I have been very happy so far. You know what? for anyone who is reading this. I would recommend Fox Run. You just can't please everyone. There are 776 apartments here so if this is only the amount of people complaining then you know they are doing a good job.

AIMCO has a very serious problem with many state agencies around the nation. They are the 2nd largest corporate landlord in the nation. The Pres. Mr. Terry Considine is close to the Bush family and runs the biz as if he were immune to laws and regs everywhere in the country. Read how they have done biz in Venice Cal for a better idea of what sort of company this is...
