I needed a place quickly, and the $500.00 deposit was certainly enticing, but you will pay in the long run. It is not specifically stated in the lease, that you must pay ALL utilities. Yes, that is right, Heat, Hot Water, Trash, Water, Sewage, and Electric. The rent is way to high for this small apartment. I have been here for one year, and they are already raisng the rent by 50.00. The maintenance people are nice, but I had to call 3 times, and visit the office 2 times and complain to the manager to get assistance. There are too many bugs, rodents and spiders here for me. The apartments are old, and they are passing off the upgrade fees to the tentants. The a/c is too loud, it is extremely cold in the winter, so you wind up spending too much on gas. The kitchens are very small, and the closet space is average. The bathtub faucet leaks, and they havn't fixed after asking. They have just keep caulking over the holes. The bathroom sink, does not plug up, and the dishwasher doesn't work. The kitchen has old sinks, with no stoppers, so everything in the sink smells up the house, so you have to clean it everyday. All of my neighbors have left, and I am leaving to. They can not justify the high rent. The carpeting is cheap and is hard to keep clean. They have a habit of coming into your apartment very frequently, and they don't leave a note to say why they were there. Once I came home and my a/c was turned up to the max, and I would never do that because I always leave it on 78. Also, they have no way for you to make your payments on-line or view your account information. That is old thinking..we are in 2008, even middlesex management has a way for you to make your payments on-line. Get with it Aimco. There are better apartments for the price you pay here, that are closer to the heart of Middlesex county...it is just not worth it. So I wind up paying close to 1200.00 p/month for rent/utilites/and electric for an apt that is only 675 sq ft.. Yes the pool is nice, but it is very crouded and noisy so you can not enjoy it. The gym is only open until 7pm, so good luck trying to get in there if you work everyday, and the recreation fees are pretty high, and you have to pay them even if you don't use the equipment. So, as I stated in the begining, there is a reason for the low 500.00 deposit....you will definately pay in the end.

They only raised your rent $50? At all of their other properties they give monthly rent increases of $100 or more. AIMCO gives new tenants a cheaper rent just to get them in the door, then when it's time for lease renewal they really jack up the rent. Oh, and they never fix anything at any of their properties. They just let things deteriorate and completely fall apart. Many of their properties across the country are a moldy mess. When you signed your lease did AIMCO tell you that you would have to pay separately for all utilities? If not, then I would like to speak with you. Please post your e-mail address (even if only temporarily, you can always go back later and remove it). Don't ever move into any AIMCO property! They do their best to screw all of their tenants.

i agree they charge for all kinds of stuff now like garbage removal sewer charge which is now almost $30 a month just for that and $6.75 for garbage removal and then hot water what a rip off this place turned out to be i will get out of here soon bet your a-s
