This apartment complex is truly atrocious, you'd be better off pitching a tent in Newark.

The office staff is rude and condescending once you've signed your lease. The maintenance crew is subpar, not much better than weekend handymen - and they're not very handy at that. The fixtures, appliances, blinds and rugs are outdated and broken. If you are lucky enough to have something replaced, all your subsequent requests go largely ignored.

There are also some serious board of health issues to be dealt with. The air/heat vents are filthy. They spew out soot whenever they start. The problem is so bad that the ceilings and walls are covered with layers of filth that no amount of cleaning can get rid of. I won't even go into the rust encrusted tubs (which you can't bathe in) and sinks.

There is also a severe lack of insulation. I can hear my upstairs neighbors partake in very personal activities, unless they're shooting porn movies. The odors are also quite nauseating, and you can't open the windows because they're even stronger and more repulsive outside.

All in all, I say stay away from anyplace that is affiliated with Westminster Management. Their track record speaks for itself.
