I have lived in PH for 4 years. For the first three, I totally felt like the management and maintenance office had some pretty rude people. There was a woman in the leasing office who was extremely unpleasant and always left you feeling like you wanted to write a HORRID review. I have had issues -- bathroom plumbing, rust in the bathroom sink, most recently a flooded carpet due to water heater breaking in another unit, no water certain mornings, etc. To be fair though, the maintenance office has always been prompt in taking care of things. I do admit that there are times when they don't communicate well things that we need to know (like when they were installing FIOS, they put a door tag on my door just the day before the actual installation, and it required a lot of moving/rearranging in my bedroom so that was annoying). But, for the most part, it's a pretty minor lapse. I do feel like they try, and now that the management seems to have changed I have noticed quite a few improvements. Haven't been to the leasing office lately, but the maintenance number has much more professional people answering and they are always willing to take care of issues.

I am getting a really good deal on my rent (moved in while they were having a special in '04), so I am probably willing to put up with a bit more than somebody who is paying significantly greater. Despite that, I do think that PH isn't bad. If you're looking for something posh, wrong place. But if you're looking for a decent place to live, nice location, but nothing fancy, PH isn't bad.

I totally agree with this review. It gives an unbiased opinion about Pheasant Hollow. New management is much better and leasing office staff are nice for a change.
