Okay- this place is not that bad, and no- I don't work for Quail Ridge.

My husband had lived here a few years ago when he was single, and I lived in Hunter's Glen. He had a much better experience here than I did there so when we sold our house and were waiting for the new one to be built we came here. When we moved in the place was very clean. I was told that our apartment would have new cabinets, and it did- it also had all new appliances- we were the first ones to use them. Everything that I was told we would have in this place, we had.

The hot water heater was making strange noises the first day, so I stopped by the management office on my way to work and the maintenance guy had the thing replaced before I even came home for lunch. He cleaned up after himself and everything. He also fixed the toilet. The guy is a sweetheart, and everyone has been very pleasant.

We're coming from a house, so it's a little difficult for us to adjust to the smallness of an apartment and the lack of storage space, but what can you do' All apartments are like that.

The only gripe I have is that some of the materials are cheap- the cheapest flooring, etc.- real bargain basement stuff. And no one's in a rush to replace the old heaters and air conditioners because the tenant pays the utilities anyway. But it's like that in any rental. I've lived in my share of two-families where the landlord had a beautiful apartment and the tenant got the garbage. That's life. That's why you keep your credit score up and become a homeowner.

Overall I would recommend this place. And I haven't seen a bug yet. As for mice- you're living in the suburbs people. They were here first.
