It's time to leave

Somehow I managed to hang in here for three years. My lease will be up in a few months and I can say it's finally time to leave. Where to begin.... the best I can say about Quail Ridge is that it's affordably priced. I must say it is difficult to find a 1 br. w/ washer/dryer in unit for $807/mo. (in such a nice area). That's where the positives end.
The management office personnel and those that answer the phone for the maintenance team are rude and discourteous (although I've never had a problem with the maintenance guys themselves). You get such a nasty attitude and tone from anyone you have to talk to over the phone- once your name is on the dotted line that is. I pay an annual service fee that is supposedly for pool and tennis court privileges and upkeep- the tennis courts are broken down and in horrible condition. The walls are paper thin. I can easily hear music, conversation and telephones ringing through the walls and floor. I can feel my walls shaking when my neighbors come home- the closing of their front doors rattles the building. Totally not kidding.
Parking blows. Come home from work after 6:30 or so and you have virtually no chance of parking in front of your building. What I hate is when my neighbors let their guests park in the spots in front of the building. I think that's so rude. Spots in front of the building should be reserved for tennants only. I always ask my guests to take a spot somewhere in the back- I cannot possibly count the amount of times I've come home at the end of the day with my bag from work, plus shopping bags, etc. and had to lug through the parking lot because thoughtless jerks that don't live here took the good spots. Assigned parking is totally the way to go.
The appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator) were made at around the same time as my old atari 2600. The dryer is astoundingly useless. The a/c unit is terribly loud- your tv better be up at full volume if you expect to hear anything while that tank is running. In the summer, if your a/c is off and the windows are down, enjoy the intensely overwhelming aroma of curry. Everyday.
Like I said- the affordable rent is about the only appeal Quail Ridge offers.
