The management office is very rude!!!!!! They make it apparent that they do not like working there, and are only too happy to not be helpful. The only thing they are helpful with is taking your money, then they are especially nice to you. You have to figure this b/c I would hate working at a place like this too. But you could at least fake liking your job. The apartment complex in general is ok. Nothing special. Everything is at least 20 yrs old. Reminds me of a college campus. Our kitchen cabinets fell apart after we moved in. A drawer broke apart with shreds of wood falling into pots and pans. All I had in there was one set of silverware! And the Cabinets above the counter are split and cracking apart. Good thing I didn't put heavy dishes up there, I'm sure they would all be broken right now. We called about it and the maintenance guy came and put staples in! WooHoo, cause that will hold. The Apartment is as cheaply made as possible! Watch out for the washer and dryer. Our dryer started smoking! And is really not energy efficient because its 20yrs. old. And you should check your own fire alarm. The guy came to check it and it fell out of the ceiling! He put a new one in, but we tested it and it doesn't work! The maintence guys are nice, they were very responsive. And last but not least, we mailed in our rent check before Chiristmas, they didn't cash it for 3 weeks, then they said that we paid it late!! Make sure you pay through e-mail, credit, or certified mail!
In general its an ok place. If your just looking for a place to hang up your hat for a while, its good. Its in a nice neighborhood and everyone seems to keep to themselves.
