I have rented here for a year now, and now Iam moving out because of an unexplainable 5% rent increase.
Pros:
Our carpeting was new.
One of the best school districts [But I dont have any children] - I think this is the only plus to live in plainsboro
We dint hear much noise from upstairs
Cons:
Maintenance is good, but a pain to get them to come
Millipedes in our bathroom, daily since the winter started
Very old bathroom mirrors, and it fell down and broke while trying to open.
No parking space after 5:45 PM
Very small sized when compared to other apartments [only 650 sq ft]. Im moving to cheaper apartment and more spacious in South Brunswick [hope that is better]
No good restaurants/ grocery stores nearby except Asian Food Market
Billed for Water, Sewage and Trash pickup
Poor insultation, winter gas & electric bill just shooooots up. Summer is okay
So you make up your mind. All the other apartments in the Plainsboro are almost the same, and everyone has increased their rent this year [BS at this time of poor housing market]

What other towns have better apartment complexes? My wife works in Forestal Campus and I want a place nearby. Plainsboro was the obvious choice but after reading all these reviews, I just cannot make up my mind! Please let me know.
