Mgmt isn't very nice after you move in. They're pretty rude really. Go over what EXACTLY is due at signing. 1st month was "free" and deposit was "waived". Still provided $250 check to hold apartment. That check was cashed and applied to the "free" month. No one could explain why and would not credit amount for the following month. Kitchen appliances are OLD. Heating system is a joke. The bedroom is an oven and the rest of the apartment is an icebox. It's about $100 for elec in a 1 bedroom. No utilites are included. I've heard bad things from local police, but never seen anything. Snow removal is pretty decent. The stairs are still icy. Seen quite a few spiders and it's winter 9that can't be a good sign). Used the fan of the stove for the first time and dead maggots came raining out. And I don't keep much food around... Needless to say, I'm not thrilled. Washing machine is new, but "dryer" is original. "Drying" something is an all day event. People never put their trash in the dumpters for reasons I do not know. Maybe piles of trash eveywhere is good luck. Who knows. Probably won't renew lease when it's up. But things could be worse.
