Alright our first year at Ravens Crest was awesome. I had no problems with the staff, the maintenance crew, or my neighbors. It was the first apartment that we lived in where we were actually happy. Well the honeymoon is over. Since we resigned our lease about 4 months ago we have been increasing dissatisfied. The staff at the office is hit or miss there are some really great people who work in there, but there is one bad apple who spoils it and she is usually the one who answers the phone.

We pay a good deal of money every month to live here, about $1250 with the pet fee, water fee, sewer fee, and trash fee. So for almost $1300 out of my pocket every month I at least expect courteous friendly customer service.

The maintenance crew here does a good job. The sidewalks and paths get cleaned during the winter fairly early. And when they have to come into the apartment for work they are always pleasant and wipe their feet. They take care of issues quickly and get you back up and running.

The recreation areas of the property are fair. The playgrounds are maintained and the tennis courts stay in good working order. My only recent concern has been the pool area. Last summer it was beautiful. The bathrooms at the pool were kept clean, the life guards were friendly and attentive, and the pool area looked well kept on a whole. This year because of the weather I have only been to the pool on two occasions and it is far from what I experienced last year. On Memorial Day weekend the pool was open but not open to go in we were told to come back in a couple of hours because they had to put in chemicals... umm why wasn't it done early in the morning or the night before'' Then this past weekend on 4th of July the pool was open but the bathrooms were in complete disarray. The men's room was locked, and the 2 toilets in the womens room were broken and backed up and no toilet paper they were putting paper towels in the stalls... so no wonder they were backed up paper towel is not meant to be used as toilet paper. The lifeguards seemed like it was a burden to be at our site. And the lounge chairs were dirty and so were the tables. On top of the rent at Ravens Crest all renters pay a $75 recreation fee to maintain tennis courts, play grounds, and the pool... so where is it all going because thats a lot of money considering there are 600 units in this complex!

All I can say is I hope things get better because we were so pleased to live here last year and this year its like what happen'!

Sounds like someone from the leasing department.

Clearly written by someone from the office. No tenant there would write this. And YES - there ARE plenty of choices for $1000 that are far superior. When Ravens Crest was $800-850, it was an ok deal. They took 18 months (literally) to finally take care of a missing gutter that had water spilling all over between two buildings. It was bad enough getting soaked trying to run through it - but it also created a big ice puddle in the winter on the sidewalk. They always just made BS excuses about "the contractors ... blah, blah". You will be happier if you rent elsewhere.

Then these user responses must be leasing departments from OTHER apartment complexes trying to conspire against Ravens Crest! We can't trust anyone! My god. All people feel these days is distrust and spite. Maybe real people actually do post on this site and not just leasing departments trying to up their ratings. Don't think I'm real? Didn't think you would. Here's my email: zelaven@apoc-speak.net. We can have a nice chat.
