Hard to believe but this place is built on Princeton's pesticide dump!

We were shocked and didn't sign the lease.
This place is built on toxic waste!
They wait to tell you until you're signing the lease.
Just ask them or google it, this place is built on Princeton's old pesticide dump.

That's a lie, actually. The land was once a nursery, and full remediation was done in accordance with the NJ Dept. of Environmental Protection. This is fully disclosed.

Contrary to a statement made on this website, Barclay Square was previously used as a nursery for landscaping stock, and has never been used as a "dump for toxic waste". Prior to any construction of residential units, the project site was fully remediated in accordance with all state and local regulations. In addition, Barclay Square received a No Further Action determination from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP); and has been deemed by the NJDEP as suitable for residential occupancy
