Sure the rooms are big. Hardwood floors,well if you are on the first floor not only do you have to constantly pick up the floor finish that peels off, you also get to hear EVERY step your upstairs neighbor takes!! They said 2nd floor tenants must put area rugs down but they never check so most dont get rugs and you can hear everything, walking, running, dropping of something, ect.. I Don't remember when was the last time I was able to sleep in since my upstairs neighbors are early risers and I am awoken every day at 5:30am which by the way is the best time to get a shower and actually have hot water! The best time to put in a service request is right before xmas. The maintenance guy John, (Juan) will show up with hand out looking for a xmas tip. I put in a work order in July, he showed up in December! When he was done, he hinted about a tip. The nerve! Dont get a basement. They get water and mildew. They have my sump pump hose going right into the sewer line which i'm pretty sure is illegal. The windows dont lock so they have me a slide bolt to put on the frame. What a joke, you can literally push in on the windows from the outside and they open, you dont need to pull them up so the slide bolt is useless. I have a new kitchen, thjey must have spent $400.00 on the cabinets and they bought the cheepest appliances available. The place is owned by a old jewish guy who doesnt like to spend money, only put the rents up. Thats why he hired John who is a ex-con. He got him cheep so the tenants get ripped off by not having a real maintenance tech. I changed my locks so he can not come into my apartment when I am not at home.
The laundryrooms are awful! Dirty, bugs. No one ever cleans them!
Look elsewhere if you want to rent in this area.
