I lived in this complex for 2 years and must say that I was so happy to leave.
Firstly the management lady (Arline) is so rude and aggressive that whenever you talk to her, she turns defensive for no reason and bullies you by speaking harshly and loudly. She also looks so unprofessional. She is mostly in her night gown, with eyes half closed and always in a hurry. The office where she works is her apartment too and most of the time is closed for lunch. Secondly she does not know how to manage.
Also she must do her job right. She should know whom is she renting the apartment. The apartment below mine's was tented to a group of stupid teenagers and all night they use to practice their ---- rock band. I had to call the management at the middle of the night but they hardly responded. I left angry messages at the management's office but they would never respond on time. 2-3 times I managed to call them during the day when the music from downstairs was shaking everything in my apartment and Arline came with an assistant who agreed that this is very noisy. They requested the people living below to be respectful of others but they dam cared. The management could not do jack about it and thank God that my lease was already expiring the next month. But it was a horrible experience. Those neighbors (the ---- musicians) were so unfriendly and pathetic especially their music was more of noise than anything else. Traffic noise will be better than that.
Also the building itself is too old. I was living in a tow bedroom apartment and it should not be more than $800 for it's such a cheap quality of wood work. The kitchen cabinets look like they were found from a cave in Afghanistan 100 years back. The washroom is dripping, the tiles are breaking, the flush not working. The lawn is not properly taken care of. Most of the areas have no grass. The parking space is too little. The laundry room is so far. There even was a robbery in the parking lot. That may give you some sense of security.
All in all a very very horrible experience multiplied by a cruel, hostile and unprofessional management lady. If you are looking for an easy way to get rid of your girlfriend, ask her to live in this apartment with you. She will leave you herself within days trust me!!

It sounds to me like your girlfriend left you for some other guy and now your just upset abut your pathetic life. FACT.. I have lived at center grove for many years and have never seen Arline in a nightgown, even if i drop my rent off at her apartment before the office opens. FACT.. If you place a call with maintenance they respond within two days of calling in a problem. FACT.. it currently is the middle of febuary and i can look outside my apartment and see the lawn still is green with grass on it. FACT.. I also had noisy and rude neighbors that were loud at 3 am not in the afternoon time and management did stop this after i made just 1 call to Aline,and 1 emergency call to the super who did respond promptly to hear what was going on. After that a letter was sent to my neighbors and the noise stopped.FACT.. in all the years living here i have never seen any of the parking lots full, always space to park and i have 2 cars. FACT.. there are ample laundry rooms for everyone and even when i do my wash on Saturday or Sunday the rooms are never full and i never had to wait for a washer. FACT..before moving here i obviously looked at other apartments in the area and let me tell u center grove had the best looking apartments for the money. If u want Afghanistan go to Quaker village you will find that sort of stuff there not here ...Trust Me

This is absolutely BULL! 60% of people have recommended Center Grove Village---doesn't sound too shabby. I've NEVER, ever seen Arline in a nightgown or with her eyes 1/2 closed; she'd have to be walking around outside for anyone to see that and rest assured THAT has never happened. She is always very professional and pleasant and by the way, she NEVER closes for lunch. I would think that if she had to deal with people the likes of you, she probably would be defensive but I've never known her to be any of these things and I've been here a very long time. As far as the apartments go, all you have to do is call and things get fixed promptly----if you didn't like where the laundry room was or the size of the parking spots, why did you take the apartment? If you were so unhappy, why didn't you leave sooner? The grounds are beautiful! The apartments are lovely----no, they are not new--but you knew that too. So we're glad that you're gone; I feel sorry for the people where you're living now because you're probably trying to cause trouble there too.

Its odd that the person trying to debunk what "ACTUAL tenants" have been writing comes from an anonymous person that also seems to sound a lot like management. HMMM Also last I checked 64% is NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT, ESPECIALLY WHEN OTHER COMPLEXES HAVE 80% OR BETTER !!! Perhaps management should spend less time on this site and more time doing their job!
