I lived in Gateways for 3 years. Pros: Relatively low noise from adjacent apartments. Better than average soundproofing. I lived on the ground floor and rarely heard anything upstairs. The grounds are really nice. It is like a park environment. Very pleasant. The laundry facilities are good. Maintenance quality is decent and quick. Management is competent. My unit was heat included and it was always comfortable, except for a couple times when the heat failed. The appliances were good quality and new. The other tenants are mostly good, a fair number of professionals rent there. The supermarket is a short walk if you live near the top of the hill. Cons: Apartments are kinda small for the price. The plumbing made noise. Finding a good parking spot in the lot can be annoying. Also cars in the lot were keyed a couple of times. I had a problem with ants, but it was eventually taken care of. That's about it.. If you're willing to pay for a unit with a garage, that doesn't leave much on the negative side. I actually miss Gateways since I moved to Oakwood Village in Flanders, to be closer to work. Big mistake -Oakwood sucks..
