Renewed Lease Twice

Since moving into Mc Guires I have been very happy. The Management staff is most helpful, maintenance is absolutely spectacular! I currently live in a lovely one bedroom with great closet space & I love the grounds. The building and grounds are quiet & clean. When I renewed my lease the lady in the office ask if I could recommend Mc Guires and I said I would be happy to.

It's great to see a positive review of McGuire's Grove. I myself wrote a positive response to a previous review. Everyone has had different experiences here, and as I mentioned in my response, there are good points and bad about McGuire's. However...here are my experiences with the things mentioned in the above review...Management spectacular? You gotta be kidding! Every time I have had to call the office, I have been talked down to, and one time, a man who identified himself as "Alan" even yelled at me(in response to a comment I made about how we all know that according to the lease there are things that are supposed to be done, by both management and tenants, that are not done). Another time, when I called because I had developed bed bugs, The woman that I spoke to (and these people do not identify themselves, so you don't know who you are talking to) accused me of having an old mattress, and that"s why I got the bugs. When I asked her how the bugs got there, she said she didn"t know. Another time I called to inquire about getting a speed bump put in near my building. There was absolutely no concern for safety, the response was "Well, in another one of our complexes someone's cat was hit by a car". I could go on ...Yes, the grounds can be beautiful-there are a few residents who have even started their own gardens, but over the years the grounds have gotten much worse. There is a lot more garbage along the street and on the grass, and some buildings are worse than others. There areas where the rainwater accumulates and causes flooding, on sidewalks and the grass. People leave unwanted items (Furniture, appliances, clothing, toys, you name it)by the dumpsters. Mostly the place is quiet, except for the occasional domestic disturbance. In closing, I have renewed my lease many times, and I have never been asked if I would recommend McGuire's. Like I said, it's great to see a positive review but this one is so positive it seems almost phony.

I am glad somebody else sees that it is the management putting in the4 reveiws. If you look at all of the "GOOD" reveiws. THEY SPEAK OF THE GROUNDS AND PARK LIKE SETTING. What a load of *&%$#@*& !!! They speak of the staff being so helpful. NOTTTT!! When have you ever heard of anyone from the office being nice? When have you heard of the super fixxing ANYTHING in 1 HOUR!!!! ant time you see a good reveiw with a score of 3.0 or better you know it is the super or the FAT GUY with the bagel in his mouth, just ask the people at Dunkin Dounuts!!!!!!!1
